The name western power derives from our origins developing onshore windfarm projects in the West of Ireland

MISSION

As the world transitions from fossil fuels to low carbon and renewable energy, countries with wind and solar resources have a major opportunity to benefit from lower energy costs, a cleaner environment, and energy security. In making that transition we must meet the challenge of combatting accelerating global climate change while at the same time respecting and being considerate of the people and ecology of the surrounding environment. We work with the leading environmental consultants to ensure our projects are developed with sensitivity and respecting the local ecology and features of the natural environment in which we plan our projects. Although renewable energy projects can be very beneficial to the local economies in which they are located, we recognise the importance of working hard to ensure that any concerns of local residents are acknowledged and addressed.
